Speed Queen is a barbecue staple in Milwaukee, WI. Started in 1956, Betty Gillespie built a restaurant, catering to customers looking for quick barbecue with great quality. Though well known from years of business, the restaurant does not have an identity that can reach a broader audience. The purpose of this project was to create an identity system to help Speed Queen stand out from competitors. The idea also involved creating an aesthetic to bring in the younger BBQ patrons.
