This project was inspired by ancient African blades and their uses. Many blades such as the khopesh, ngulu, akrafena, etc., do not hold conventional forms; therefore, the blades have unique shapes. My challenge was to create a typeface that could mimic these shapes while also being practical for design. As a result this typeface was created with two different weights: Battle and Ceremony.
